CASSEROLE HOT PAD SEWING TUTORIAL

This quilted hot pad is reversible with 2 coordinating fabrics.

SUPPLIES NEEDED

– Fat Quarters (we used 2 fabrics for our) – insul bright to keep hot dishes from burning you – Cotton thread (this is a special thread) – Cotton batting – Fabric marker – Sewing Machine – Scissors or rotary cutter – Walking foot for your machine – Quilter’s ruler – Iron – Ironing board

INSTRUCTIONS

Cut your fabric and put Insul bright on 1 side. Mark your sewing lines

STEP 2

Sew all around leaving an opening to turn your hot pad

STEP 3

Turn your hot pad and use bone folder to poke edges out.

STEP 4

Quilt down the middle and lines from the middle
