Easy Sew Christmas Ornament
This easy sew Christmas ornament is a great gift or a great way to decorate your tree. All you need is your favorite Christmas Fabric and if you have scrap fabric this is the perfect time to use that. So without further ado, let’s make our easy so Christmas ornament.
Supplies for Easy sew Christmas Ornaments
- 4 squares cut 4″
- 1 square of same fabric above cut 7″
- 1 contrasting color for middle cut 6″
- 1 piece cut 2×4″

Assembly Instructions
Create your hanger by folding your fabric in half and then half again. Sew down both long edges. Put it aside so you have the piece during assembly.
Next, you want to fold your smaller squares into triangles. Iron them in place and set aside. Now it’s time to put your pieces together.
Thirdly, you want to place your hanger with the raw edges to the top in the center of your larger square. Now place your triangles around your large square with the point matching the point of your large square.
Secure in place using pins or clips.
Sew around the outside edges using a 1/4″ seam making sure to go all the way around.
Next you want to trim the corner making sure you don’t cut your seam and turn your piece. You are 3/4 of the way finished.
Now place your middle fabric in the inside, line up as you wish and secure it with pins or clips.
Finally, you want to sew diagonally on every corner securing your fabric in place. Now your easy sew Christmas ornament is ready to hang.
Quilting Option
You can quilt your ornament for a different look. It looks super cute quilted.
