    Fabric Envelope

We saw these envelopes and knew we had to make a few. Rachel has 5 grandkids and said she would love to make them. They make the perfect handmade gift for Valentine’s Day.

In the original pattern she used duck cloth, but Rachel just used fabric scraps in Valentine colors, using a solid for the envelope and fun patterns for the stamp.

Such a fun way to show someone love on the day of love. She added gift cards for the older grandkids and fun stickers and small gifts for the littlest grandkids.

It comes with a free pattern for the envelope, so make sure and download that. You could easily do this for anniversaries or even for a wedding shower.

If you need fabric, fat quarters would be the perfect size for 1 envelope.

This is such a great project. It’s perfect for your fabric stash that is in the closet or drawer in your sewing room.  Each sweet heart is made from coordinating fabrics and then attach with some twine or ribbon.

We hung these up on the mantel and created individual hearts and gave as gifts. They are the perfect gift to attach a sweet note to for Galentine’s day. They made such a fun valentine sweet treat for my friends in my bible study.

This is such a great way to put little treats and make great gifts when it comes to creating Valentine’s Day sewing projects.  You can make various sizes to fit your needs. They reminded us of the conversation hearts you buy as candy.

We made them for a Galentine’s party and added sweet treats and a little personalized gift. They were definitely a big hit with all the ladies.

We saw this heart quilt pattern and knew we had to make it. We used it as a table runner for a round table. If you have a rectangle table, simple make longer rows and sew together.

The  mini quilt PDF sewing pattern was super easy to follow and perfect for Valentine’s Day. We added a charcuterie board and some flowers, and it was so beautiful.

You could also do these for fun gifts. The pattern is small enough that it wouldn’t take long to create them.

Just another fun and easy sewing project for this time of year. You can easily make these into different sizes. We found that everyone loved these as Valentine Day gift ideas.

Joann created these for her book club and when they left she let each person take their mug rug. She used her fabric collection of pink fabrics and purples and added a little heart she quilted on each mug rug.

These heart coasters are such creative ideas that don’t cost very much.  To save money, you can use a solid background fabric using leftover fabric that matches on these cute coasters.

How cute are these for Valentines gifts. When you customize these, it makes for such a special day.

Last year on Valentine’s Day we adopted a classroom of kids where my friend teaches. The kids are low income and don’t get gifts for holidays like Valentine’s Day.

We did girl and boy colors and added colored pencils, stickers, and of course some candy. The kids loved them, and you could tell felt so loved and seen by someone. You could also do this at a nursing home.

We love that this is a zipper pouch they can use long after the holiday is over. It’s such an adorable way to show someone love with our fabric stashes.

We hope that your head is swirling with ideas to make Valentine’s day so special for your family, friends and your community. We picked our favorite 7 Valetine sewing projects to keep the choices simple and not overwhelming.
