Suzy Quilts is renowned within the quilting circles for her collection of contemporary quilt designs tailored for beginners.
One of her notable creations is the Campfire pattern, a modern interpretation of the classic log cabin block, serving as the foundation for the entire quilt top.
This versatile pattern lends itself beautifully to both solid and patterned fabrics, offering flexibility in design choices.
With options available in baby, throw, queen/full, and king sizes, Campfire allows quilters of all levels to create stunning quilts to suit their needs.

Imagine making this pattern as a baby quilt throw or for lap quilts. I love the simplicity of 3 one-yard cuts of fabric.
That simplicity makes a beautiful quilt top and would make the perfect gift for anyone on their birthday or Christmas.
If this is your first quilt to make, this would be an easy one. I simply used my rotary cutter and self healing mat to cut my squares and then followed her pattern to put the pieces together.
You can easily make this one. Huge thanks to Fabric Cafe for designing this beautiful quilt.

This quilt pattern is so pretty. I have been in a yellow phase of life and love these soft colors. I made the pattern which was so easy to follow with fat quarter bundles with similar colors. I found my fabric selection on Amazon and love it.
This would be precious in a nursery if the family was unsure of the sex and looking for something neutral. It’s also gorgeous though in a kitchen or bedroom where you are doing grey or yellow colors.
You could easily add squares to make a king size quilt. My only suggestion is to buy enough fabric when planing your quilt so you don’t run out. You will make this easy pattern again and again and it will look different each time depending on your fabrics.

This darling baby quilt pattern could also be used as a lap quilt. It’s one of my favorite large scale prints. It is such an easy quilt pattern and doesn’t take that much fabric.
You will need about 1/2 yard of fabric for your squares for your finished quilt.
The pattern is super simple to follow, so just follow instructions for the type of quilt you are making, and you will find it’s a great way to have a finished quilt in a weekend.
Throw Quilt Pattern

This is another one of those versatile quilts. You can use this pattern for a baby quilt, throw quilt or lap quilt. You can also make it bigger by simple adding blocks.
You won’t need but a total of 3 yards of fabric. Simply buy a quarter of a yard of fabric for each of the colors, and you will be good to go.
You could also use a fat quarter bundle if that is easier or scrap fabrics from other projects.
Additionally, the instructions are super simple to follow. After a friend saw it, she asked if I would make her one. I am going to use some left over fat quarters I got at my local quilt shop to make her quilt.
So many beautiful 3 yard quilt patterns that are so simple to make. Did you find one to try? I hope so. I can’t wait to see your beautiful design on our social media or email.
