Each pattern piece is super simple to follow, and we used our rotary cutter to cut all the squares, but if you had leftover charm packs, that would work perfectly for these fabric Easter baskets.
I used a solid color for my lining pieces and the funny thing is I made it for my great niece who is 2. She loved her “purse” so much she is using it way past Easter.
I use fusible fleece for my bunny on the outside piece and then did a simple top stitch to hold it in place.

You can easily make your own Easter basket using this pattern. You can use leftover fabric from a quilt or pick your favorite Easter fabric, and the lining fabric pieces can simply be a solid color.
The top reminds me of bunny ears. I did take it up a notch and added a cute Easter egg applique to this small fabric basket. You could also do an Easter bunny or leave it as is. The inside of the basket holds a ton of eggs and can easily be washed.
Furthermore, the sewing tutorial is simple to follow. Simply print and follow the directions. I gave mine as a gift basket and added some Easter grass and chocolate eggs and some fun Crochet chicks. It turned out super cute.
